     United States of America - CCUS Incentives

    The 45Q tax credit in the U.S. offers up to $50 per metric ton for CO2 storage and $35 for CO2 used in enhanced oil recovery, encouraging CCUS projects across various sectors.

     European Union - CCUS Incentives

    The Innovation Fund allocates $1.5 billion and the Connecting Europe Facility provides over $500 million for CCUS projects, promoting innovation and infrastructure development.

     Netherlands - CCUS Incentives

    The Netherlands has committed $7.3 billion under the SDE++ scheme to support CCUS projects and other CO2 reduction technologies.

     Denmark - CCUS Incentives

    Denmark's national strategy allocates $1.2 billion for CCUS projects, focusing on capture, storage, and bioenergy with CCUS.

     Japan - CCUS Incentives

    Japan has chosen seven CCUS projects to capture and store 13 million metric tons of CO2 annually by 2030, with the draft CCS Business Act establishing a legal framework.

     Germany - CCUS Incentives

    Germany's strategy highlights CCUS as vital for its 2045 carbon neutrality goals, with plans to amend legislation to regulate CCUS and offshore CO2 storage.

     Indonesia - CCUS Incentives

    Indonesia has set up a comprehensive framework for CCUS, including licensing, CO2 storage permits, and cross-border transport procedures, to support its deployment in oil, gas, steel, and cement sectors.

     India - CCUS Incentives

    India is developing a CCUS policy framework to support decarbonization, covering standards, capture, transportation, storage, and utilization, as part of its strategy to reach net-zero emissions by 2070.

     Canada - CCUS Incentives

    Canada's Carbon Management Strategy includes a $2 billion fund to support large-scale CCUS projects, promoting technology development across various sectors and regions.

     China - CCUS Incentives

    China supports CCUS with initiatives and low-cost loans from the People's Bank of China’s CERF, focusing on large-scale projects, international collaborations, and decarbonization in key sectors.
